THE
POPULAR NOVEL (& AWFUL MOVIE) HAS GIVEN BIRTH TO A
WHOLE SLEW OF THEORIES AND WAS THE INSPIRATION BEHIND
THE SEARCH FOR "THE ABSIT INVIDIA". |
The debate has raged
on, quietly, for many years now and yet, for some
"Abolitionists", the draw seems to be an
invulnerable beast, protected by a small but faithful
pack of tiny brained lapdogs.
Now, however, there is
hope from the unlikeliest of sources, THE BIBLE. Yes,
that's right! The Good Book. For hidden within its many
pages are thousands of "clues" that draw
abolitionists claim reveal an additional 3 commandments,
that the Vatican know of and refer to as "The Absit
Invidia".
The Vatican remain
tightlipped on the subject of "The Absit Invidia"
and their meanings but the anti-draw brigade believe
that the 2nd of these "lost" commandments,
"Thou Shalt Not Diminish Thy Brothers
Pleasure", quite clearly denounces the draw as
being against the will of God.
Andy Meres, a spokesman
for the Abolitionists, believes that "The Absit
Invidia" presents a strong case for many other
aspects of Grades cricket aside from the anti draw
sentiments. "The 1st Absit Invidia commandment
states "Thou Shalt Not Walk" and this is
clearly engrained on the minds of many individuals
around the Grades already."
Mr Meres would not offer
comment on the 3rd "Absit Invidia" commandment
whose current translation would seem to state,
"Thou Shalt Not Join Cults".
